We have more data than ever. More research. More sophisticated tools for analyzing it.

Yet in the social sector, understanding impact remains surprisingly difficult.

Impact measurement and research often involve complex frameworks, multiple stakeholders, fragmented data, competing priorities, and reporting requirements. I have experienced firsthand how easily the process can become disconnected from the question it was meant to answer — producing more information without necessarily producing better understanding.

I believe there is a better way.

My work brings together research, strategy, data, and technology to make the process more useful — from the questions we ask and the way we gather evidence to how we interpret, communicate, and ultimately use it.

Across government, philanthropy, nonprofits, and cultural institutions, I have worked across research and evaluation, strategic analysis, policy analysis, impact and learning, and research communications, including work with the U.S. Department of State, USAID, Global Affairs Canada, Mathematica, George Mason University, and The Hunger Project. My work has spanned 13 countries and areas including democracy and governance, climate resilience, gender equality, food security, WASH, displacement, and inclusion.

Because research should do more than satisfy a reporting requirement.

It should help people see what is happening, understand why it matters, and make better decisions about what comes next.

That is the kind of research practice I am building — one that combines rigorous evidence with clearer thinking, better tools, and a deeper understanding of the people and systems behind the data.
